Initiation
What happens when your body, mind, spirit, business, and life all begin evolving at the same time
I’ve been reflecting on the month of May and trying to find the right words for what happened.
At first glance, it looks like I attended three completely separate events.
A week-long retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza
A luxury mastermind experience in Paris with Gina DeVee
Dave Asprey’s Beyond Biohacking Conference
Three trips. Three communities. Three very different conversations.
The more I reflect on them, the more I realize they were not separate at all.
They were one initiation experienced through three different doorways.
Each one built upon the last, each one preparing me for the next, and underneath all three was a single question: Who must I become for what wants to emerge through me next?
That feels like the question of this season of my life.
It’s not, what do I need to do next or, what strategy should I use? And it’s not what do I want?
It is: Who must I become for what wants to emerge through me next?
Dr. Joe Dispenza asked that question through identity.
Who are you being?
What emotional state are you rehearsing?
What future are you creating from the personality you’ve become?
One of my greatest takeaways from the retreat was the realization that this work is not actually teaching manifestation. It is teaching how to stop being the person recreating the past.
That distinction changed something for me, because most people are trying to create a different future while remaining the same person who created their current reality.
The body remembers. The nervous system remembers. The personality remembers.
Until something changes there, we often continue recreating the same patterns, circumstances, and outcomes.
The future requires a different identity.
Paris asked the same question through a completely different lens.
Expansion
Receiving
Visibility
Luxury
Beauty
Capacity
It challenged me to examine how much I am truly willing to receive - and not just money or opportunities, but support, visibility, ease, and joy.
How much am I truly willing to receive a larger vision of myself?
There is something powerful that happens when you place yourself in environments that reflect a bigger possibility back to you.
You begin to see where you have unconsciously limited yourself.
You begin to recognize where your current self-image can no longer hold the vision trying to emerge.
Then came Beyond Biohacking.
What struck me most was that the conversation has evolved far beyond optimization.
What was once biohacking has become consciousness hacking, too.
The discussions were no longer simply about supplements, sleep, mitochondria, recovery, and longevity.
They were about:
Awareness
Presence
Identity
Consciousness
Human potential
The realization that transformation is not just psychological was everywhere.
Not just physical either or just spiritual.
It is neurological. Energetic. Biological. Spiritual.
All at once.
Suddenly I could see the deeper thread connecting all three experiences.
Dr. Joe was asking: Can you become the person capable of creating a different future?
Gina DeVee was asking: Can you expand your capacity to receive the life that is calling you?
Dave Asprey was asking: Can your body, brain, energy, and nervous system support what you say you want?
Three questions.
One initiation.
All three were ultimately asking the same thing: Who must I become?
Not what do I need to acquire or what do I need to learn. Not what do I need to fix.
Who must I become?
Perhaps that is why this month feels so significant.
I don’t feel like I learned three new things.
I feel like I was initiated into one new thing: A larger capacity.
A larger capacity to receive
A larger capacity to create
A larger capacity to lead
A larger capacity to hold the vision that is emerging
For years I have taught transformation. I’ve coached transformation. I’ve studied transformation. I’ve lived transformation.
Yet this month reminded me that real transformation never happens in just one area of our lives.
The body affects consciousness.
Consciousness affects identity.
Identity affects business.
Business affects lifestyle.
Lifestyle affects health.
Health affects perception.
Perception affects leadership.
Leadership affects impact.
Impact affects destiny.
Everything is connected.
Everything.
Perhaps that is the deeper lesson of this initiation. The future I am creating cannot be built from only one dimension of myself.
Not from spirituality alone or business alone. Not from mindset alone or biohacking my physiology alone.
It must be built from the integration of all of it.
This is why the month feels like a threshold.
If you’ve been following my writing lately, you know I’ve been talking about thresholds.
The liminal space.
Walking between worlds.
The place where who you were no longer fits, but who you are becoming has not fully arrived.
That is where I find myself.
I’m not lost.
I’m not broken.
I’m not confused.
I’m initiated.
I am standing at the threshold between the woman I have been and the woman I am becoming -
A woman who trusts herself more deeply. A woman who is developing greater capacity. A woman who is becoming more embodied.
More regulated, more visible, more receptive, more precise, more aligned, more fully herself.
Perhaps initiation is not learning something new.
Perhaps initiation is becoming more fully who you have always been.
May was not a month of travel.
May was a month of becoming.
And I have a feeling I’m only beginning to understand what it was preparing me for.

Yes, we are a limitless soul in a human body. We are both. This is beautiful! ❤️🌹
You go girl!! Having attended five Dr Joe week-long’s and curating a channel for the others’ content and people like them…I not only “feel you” I emphatically “get it” and celebrate with you the current state of “win.”
And I didn’t attend 5 Dr Joes because I didn’t get it the first time. It’s because the retreats are 10% wisdom and 90% experience … which is the message.
How are you experiencing here, right now, so you can let go of then, and was, and wish it had been.
Brava! Keep up the meditations. As he would say: “Why wouldn’t you?!”
